Capitol Risk has now partnered with Intelligent Security Training, lead by Brandon Clifford. This means good things to all those looking at doing our Personal Security Training courses.

All certification will now go through Intelligent Security Training. They now have verified centres in England and the Czech Republic with new centres in the pipeline. You still receive the very best training from the best instructors.

We’re not just passing the training over. Brandon is one of the very best instructors  out there, and his new company is already making a name for its self when it comes to Close Protection Training and Krav Maga training. You will still see Capitol Risk assisting him on courses, so we still have very close and personal ties.

There has already been articles in the press and on TV about his security training, so we will be posting a more detailed release on our main Capitol Risk site in the near future.

Everyone who attended this course worked very hard and gave 100%. Using the shocknife brought a new level to knife defence training which I’m sure a few of the guys will remember for a while! As you will see from the pictures, we also used marker knives too.

It was a long day and I could see towards the end, people were starting to get tired. That soon disappeared when the final drill started! This was a 10 minute drill done in complete darkness, with loud music and a strobe light (sorry the smoke machine packed up!) . We did run an hour over but there were no complaints.

It was nice to see that we had both experienced martial artists and complete beginners alike training together. I’m happy to say that from the feedback sheets, everyone took away something positive from the day and everyone went home smiling. For this course, around half worked in the security industry.

With this type of training, when explaining the dynamics of attack,  it makes a big difference having an instructor who has been in situations where he has really had to fight for his life.
